Title: Compliance Auditor

How long have you been working at EcoEngineers? Since May 2021

What service area do you work? I work on the Audit Team primarily with a variety of RNG clients.

Where are you from? A small town in south Texas, near San Antonio

What degrees or certifications do you have? I have a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University. Gig ‘Em! I am also a California LCFS Lead Verifier and Oregon CFP Verifier.

Why do you do what you do?I do what I do because It brings me a great sense of satisfaction to know our clients trust us to make sure they are following regulations to the best of their ability.

What does a Clean Energy Economy mean to you? A Clean Energy Economy means conserving the nation’s natural resources and less reliance on imported fuels.

What question do your friends or family typically ask about your job? My friends and family typically ask, “What is it exactly that you do?” and even then, it’s still hard for them to understand. But, in simplest terms, I tell them that I work for a renewable fuels consulting/auditing company, and I audit clients to make sure they are meeting EPA or CARB regulations.

What is the biggest problem you solve? How would you describe it and your approach to fixing it? As an auditor, I don’t typically solve problems, but I do hope to provide our clients the best service so if we do identify a problem, they are able obtain the help they need and resolve them timely.

How would you describe your biggest win? My biggest win was graduating from Texas A&M University as a first-generation college student, and getting to marry my awesome husband a little over a year ago to start the life we have now.

What do you do you for fun outside of work and why do you enjoy it?I enjoy traveling and going on road trips with my husband, visiting friends and family, as well as spending time at home in the yard or working on little projects around the house.
