Title: 마케팅 코디네이터

How long have you been working at EcoEngineers? Since July 2019

What service area do you work? As the primary contact in our marketing department, I touch all of our service areas: 규제 참여, 수명주기 분석, 자산 개발 컨설팅, 규정 준수 관리감사 서비스

Where are you from? St. Peters, Missouri (a suburb of St. Louis)

What degrees or certifications do you have? Bachelor of Journalism in magazine design with a minor in Spanish

Why do you do what you do? I got into journalism because I liked being able to present complex information in easy-to-understand ways. Working for Eco gives me the opportunity to do that for our clients and followers who might be interested in a sustainable future.

What does a Clean Energy Economy mean to you? To me, a Clean Energy Economy means not putting undue stress on the environment in order to live our lives. It means finding ways to improve our technology to not only enhance our way of life, but also conserve the earth’s natural resources.

What question do your friends or family typically ask about your job? Once we get past what EcoEngineers does, the question that normally comes up is just “what do you do for Eco?” I say I am in charge of all outgoing marketing and branding for the company, including social media, client documents, events and internal documents. This includes look and feel, as well as making sure all content is speaking the same language in terms of grammar, style, and vocabulary.

What question does a client typically ask about your job before you begin? “What does the company do?” Because I am one of the few the non-technical voices in the office, I explain that we are a company of auditors, engineers, and regulatory consultants that help businesses and others to reduce their carbon emissions, whether that be participating in the myriad of state or federal regulations or entering agreements with other businesses or farms in order to provide a more sustainable energy source.

What is the biggest problem you solve? How would you describe it and your approach to fixing it? Translating engineer-speak into normal terms. Sometimes our regulatory consultants and engineers are so deeply engrossed in a project that it’s more difficult for them to explain to an outsider what the results of the project are. That’s where I come in! With my copy editing background and eye for attention to detail (as well as tendency to ask a lot of questions), I can usually disseminate what needs to be said in simpler terms for an outsider to understand.

How would you describe your biggest win? Getting our sales team more comfortable doing webinars. We’ve done quite a few since I started and especially since the pandemic threw us for a loop in 2020. And they keep getting better!

What do you do you for fun outside of work and why do you enjoy it? I like to craft, ride my bicycle, and hang out with my dogs. My husband and I are also foster parents for a local dog rescue.
