Where are you from? Born and raised in Oskaloosa, Iowa

What degrees or certifications do you have? I have a B.S. in civil engineering, I am a licensed Professional Engineer in 10 states, and I am an accredited LCFS Lead Verifier.

Why do you do what you do? Helping people bring lower carbon and renewable energy projects to market feels like we are doing our part to reduce climate change impacts and lessen our dependence on fossil-based fuels.

What does a Clean Energy Economy mean to you? It means lower carbon emissions and making conscious choices to reduce our carbon impact on the world.

What question do your friends or family typically ask about your job? They often ask what we do. I tell them we help bring renewable energy projects to fruition.

What question does a client typically ask about your job before you begin? How do these projects pay for themselves? Various programs reward carbon and greenhouse gas emissions reduction and by creating projects that do just that, there are economic, social, and environmental benefits.

What is the biggest problem you solve? How would you describe it and your approach to fixing it?Helping people navigate all of the roadblocks and complexities to implementing a renewable energy project.

How would you describe your biggest win? When communities, developers, and project owners spend thousands of hours and millions of dollars on a project, to see the renewable energy project startup and start generating the returns they anticipated is very rewarding.
